If you are looking for the perfect tipple this weekend to wet your appetite for pre Christmas shenanigans then look no further.
This mince pie milkshake is just for the grown ups.
It couldn’t be simpler, just grab a hand blender (or whatever blender you have), and into the glass/jug pop 2-3 large scoops of vanilla ice cream, a good glug of milk (dependant on how thick you want it and how much you want to make), a measure of rum (around 30ml, I used Sailor Jerrys) and about 2tsp of mincemeat.
Blend until mixed. Taste it and add more of anything if it needs it. Pour into a glass with ice and serve. Delicious.
